5 Things you should do before your branding shoot included:
Know your brand story and visual identity - This will help set the tone for colors, aesthetics, and overall brand vibe.
Plan your outfits carefully - It’s important to choose colors in line with your brand and that makes you feel confident. Be sure to try outfits on ahead of time so you know how they fit and you like the style and look to make sure it’s a brand.
Prepare props & accessories - This is optional as you decide if you want to include this in your shoot. This all depends on your type of business. For product based business I would say it’s a must. For service based businesses it’s 50/50 based on your brand messaging. I will say that props visually appeal to any branding photos.
Consider hair makeup and grooming - This is an investment so it's important to look polished and professional. It’s important to budget for a hair stylist, makeup artist and pedicure and/or manicure to ensure you look best. Book these services a few days before or on the same day.
Plan the location and logistics - Choosing the location depends on the aesthetics you’re shooting for and depends on your industry. Consider indoor and outdoor options. When using outdoor locations consider the possibility of needing a permit.
